Quantum College has been organizing a beautiful event, the annual Ethnic Expo, held on New Year’s eve, since 2011 when it joined the International Baccalaureate system. This is a day when the classrooms and students are changed beyond recognition: one has the feeling of making a 10-15 minute trip across different countries worldwide. This was the atmosphere that reigned at the College on December 27 and 28, 2014. Imagine more than 20 countries in one place, and everyone is enthusiastic about doing their best to represent their country. Both middle and high school students, as well as the IB first year students, participated in this beautiful event. By the way, the IB students were representing Malaysia. Their interest in this particular country was greatly due to the fact of having three Malaysian students among their friends. Everyone was excited, but, nevertheless, they all greatly succeeded in representing the country they had chosen. Different classes won prizes in various nominations. Choosing the winners was not an easy task for the jury members. However, after a long discussions the third prize was given to 6-1 and 8-4, the second prize to 10-2, and finally, the first prize was given to 5-1 for being the most enthusiastic, united and organized class.
