In the bringing up of the new generation, it’s extremely important to introduce students to the history of their nation, even though the latter is full of bitter and ruthless episodes. Quantum College has always been aware of this, and active steps are being taken to equip students with a healthy spirit and patriotic ideas. The proof of this, is not only holding classes on topics related to that subject, but also different arrangements.
In the college this year a great number of events was provided, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. Among them there was a literary-musical event that united the representatives of different generations.
During the event sounded the works of the striking literature representatives. If in the first partthe horrific events of 1915 were introduced in the form of poems, the second part was devoted to recovering Armenia՛sapotheosis. Instead of mawkish moods, there dominated the recognition and claiming moods. The posters of the leading figures about Armenians, the Armenian youth sounds of pure speech and music, proud, patriotic spirit of the audience, was disseminated to create a complete picture of the event, the audience's warm response showed that the organizer of the event, Armenian language and literature teacher Gayane Andreasyan’s 2-year efforts and hard work were not in vain.
