Today in the new building of Quantum College there was a festive whirl: flowers, balloons, music, miraculous children with lucid looks, and parents, who were more excited than children: It was about to be one of the most memorable and turning days for them: the first day of school. The official opening of the day was declared by the Armenian national anthem. The message of Yerevan Mayor was read by Urban Development and Land Control Department director Hayk Asatryan, after which the first-graders were warmly greeted by Araksya Simonyan. Children were also greeted and wished many happy returns by the graduate student Arpin, Quantum College IBDP 2014-2015 graduates Marie and Argam. They're already Munich and Edinburgh University students, and wished children to repeat, and why not to exceed their successes. It's already become a tradition in our college for graduates to return in the status of parent. Quantum College 1995y graduate Gevorg Ohanjanyan, who after graduating college and YSY, has succeeded in expanding his business activities in Korea, returned to college with the same conviction. In his greeting and gratitude speech, also spoke Quantum College 2002y graduate Armine Vardanyan. And after warm wishes came the most expected moment, when the children met their first teachers, who are going to give them basic knowledge and become their friend. After receiving the college badges symbolizing the colors of the Armenian flag, they became true Quantum College students. The first bell rang. But the ceremony didn’t end. In the beautifully decorated hall, Quantum College 2nd grade students made a surprise for their younger friends, performing a small concert with their music teacher Anna Virabyan. Then after the warm applauses, the heroes of the day went to their auditoriums, to get acquainted with their teacher and friends and look through the first book, the Alphabet. We congratulate our children and parents once again, warmly welcoming them to Quantum College.
