With the awarding ceremony of the bests started the new academic year
With the kind words towards students and best of the bests award ceremony, on 7 September ,Quantum College 2015-2016 academic year began. Although the academic year with its literature exam and the military training had started earlier, college classes started today. For the presents the Directorate's the message of greeting was read by Araqsya Simonyan. The students were also greeted on the new academic year by Quantum College Student Council vice president Serine Nazaryan. In conclusion, we can confidently say that during 2014-2015 academic year was quite productive for Quantum College students. Excellent results in both Quantum College entrance exams and in the International Baccalaureate graduates exams, significant achievements in the field of national and international Olympic movement. Due to their great diligence and great results achieved, Quantum College students were evaluated in a worthy manner, getting Quantum college Best Graduate and Best Student nominations.
2014-2015 academic year "Best Graduate" prize was awarded to Albert Gevorgyan (International Olympic bronze medalist in mathematics and computer science), Eduard Grigoryan (International Informatics Olympyad bronze medalist) and Marianna Ghazaryan (final gold medalist in the International Geography Olympiad).Quantum College "Best Student" award was given to 12th grader Ashot Matevosyan, who was participating for the first time this year in the International Olympiad in physics and astronomy, and returned with a bronze medal and a certificate appropriately. In IT sphere president's " Best Student" annual awards were given to IBDP 12th grade students Arman Ghazaryan and Lusia Manukyan, as well as in municipal and national competitions wonderfully showed himself and was awarded 16 diplomas the 10th grader Alexander Karalyan. In the 2nd quarter“The 100 th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide” Armenian language school essay contest winners announced by the Chair, who proved through their essays that the Armenian language is on the high level in the college, were also awarded.
In her closing remarks, Araksia Simonyan said. "Dear students, our joint work has resulted in significant achievements, but we shouldn’t be satisfied with them and not seek to achieve more, because you can do it. Driven by a strong belief in your abilities and your willingness to learn even more, I wholeheartedly wish you to be welcomed to our school and urge you act now in appreciated and gratifying work of taking new knowledge. We believe that in Quantum College you are waiting for new victories. Remember, that learning properly you win, but we all benefit.
