The Best Student of the University of Columbia is a Quantum College Graduate
Quantum College graduate of 2008-2009 academic year Vahe Galstyan has been recognized as the best student of the University of Columbia in Physics department and received Alfred Morits Michaelis Prize. Vahe is among the numerous Quantum students for whom the annual Contest of Gifted Children became a solid basis for further achievements. As Vahe himself says, a new life started for him at Quantum College. Quantum became a place where Vahe enlarged the scope of his interests, made new friends and became particularly passionate about Physics thanks to his favourite teacher Mr Azizbekyan. During his study at Quantum Vahe actively participated in Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics and Informatics Olympiads receiving a number of awards, among which a bronze medal in the 40th International Physics Olympiad in 2009. Vahe has been majoring in Physics at the University of Columbia since 2011. And recently he has been awarded with Alfred Morits Michaelis Prize. This prize is awarded to the student who shows the best results in Physics. We wholeheartedly congratulate Vahe and wish him new and better achievements.
